laszlo wants you.
Attention developers: we're hiring. There's only one developer listing on the jobs page at the moment, but we have more openings than that.
Ideal candidates:
- love UI programming and can also do server-side Java/Python/Ruby
- are kick-ass developers with good habits
- live in the SF bay area (though I think we have a Boston opening too)
- have a ton of web experience -- comfort with XML, web services, DHTML, you name it
- have product experience
- do cool things in their free time
Any of the above may or may not be strictly required. Basically, the ideal candidate rocks. You know who you are.
I love working at Laszlo -- I'm surrounded by extremely smart people who have done all kinds of cool stuff; we do a lot of consumer-facing "millions of users" work; we're open-source. There's a cool blend of enthusiasm and tech chops in the air.
If you're interested, the best bet is to download the Laszlo platform and write something. That's what you'll be doing all day, so make sure you like it. Plus, a sweet demo app is an excellent path to a job.

(update: Oliver Steele, our Chief Software Architect, has a nice post on his blog about jobs at Laszlo.)
