moving ii: plastics.

While frantically cleaning the house, I applied one of Bradee's great teachings: plastic containers make things neater.

Instead of piling things on a shelf, grab a stack of plastic shoeboxes, sort the stuff into boxes, and pile the boxes on the shelf. Much better.

It's the same thing with code... okay, never mind. But it is.

Anyway, Cool Tools (we love cool tools) gets this right: the secret to is to have lots of them on hand. They're a buck apiece at the Container Store, so it's not too expensive to buy a bunch. Same goes for zipties, rubber bands, and those awesome 3 mil "contractor trash bags" they sell at Home Depot. If you only have a few, you'll wait for the right moment to use one. Buy 3 boxes.
