tech i liked in 2004.
Treo - mmmm email fix.
Nikon D70 - Digital SLR. Finally, decent digital photos.
ACDSee - Fast/flexible photo browsing software.
Vonage - Bye, Verizon.
Tivo - RSS for your TV. Suddenly I hate TV less.
Bloglines - Still the best RSS aggregator I've found.
Squeezebox - mp3 appliance. Hooked up to our receiver's "CD" button.
iPod - Me and the rest of the world.
IDEA - Best IDE I've ever used.
Firefox - Truly a better mousetrap.
del.icio.us - Portable/social bookmarks.
Laszlo - I liked it so much, I got a job there.
Total Commander - Tweakable filesystem browser. Not for the faint of heart.
Audiomulch - The name says it all. Been using it for years, still love it.
The Godfather - mp3 re-tagger. Weird but powerful UI.
Thinkpad - Laptops done right. Too bad IBM's abandoning them.
Arles Web Page Creator - Builds web photo albums. Not sure if it's the best game in town but I've definitely used it a lot in the past few months.
SpamAssassin - I'm up to about 25,000 spams per month. I see almost none of them.
Craigslist - Reminds you how annoying ebay is.
the "eh" list
Seidio iMount - Oh the potential. Nice work on the product name though.
iPod - An open architecture would be nice. Or does "think different" mean "no crossfade feature"?
Red Hat - Keeping my servers up to date is way too much effort. I'm migrating to Debian this spring.
Medela Pump In Style - Seems to be a decent breast pump, but has no license to use the word "style".
