we like the galaxy hut.

Plink show tomorrow (that's Saturday) at the Galaxy Hut. We go on second, but show up early and have a PBR.

We were at the GHut this week putting up flyers, and Annie Quick from NYC was playing. They were pretty cool; quirky odd-meter pop. I think they would have been better loud, because some of their stuff was the rocking, but GHut isn't the place to play loud. Their singer (that'd be "Annie") is a skinny Chrissy Hinde/PJ Harvey type, and she plays guitar. They're doing their thing, the place is kind of dead, they're still rocking as best they can in a small sort of empty bar. After about the third song finished, a guy stood up next to the bar and asked "hey, is that a 1961 SG-B5 reissue?". Annie was kind of surprised and said "uh... yeah, actually it is". The dude said thanks, sat down, and the band kept playing.

I guess you had to be there. It was a funny moment.
