First it was comment spam. Now it's full-blown DoS attacks using peoples' Movable Type comment scripts: crapflooding.

Great. Go internet.

I don't have time to dick around with this. I administer this machine in my free time and the idea of keeping up with yet another anti-asshole technology doesn't do much for me. Besides, I'm not a member of the "blogosphere" anyway. I want to write my little web thing here like a magazine column, have people marvel at my whimsical genius, and email me if they want to chat.

So I just turned off comments on all my entries. We're back to read-only until Six Apart comes up with a good fix. In the meantime, you know where to find me.
